D-Fuse is a group of designers from varied disciplines, who work across a
range of creative media from the Web, Print, TV, Film, Art + Architecture,
to LIve Performances + Mobile media.
Clients include ¬ Sony, Apple Computers, NTT DoCoMo, Diesel, Talking
Loud, R+S Records, Sub Rosa/Quatermass, Gasbook, Nowondvd, Digital
Vision, The Arts Council, The BBC, The British Council, The Wire Magazine
+ Ushida Findley Architects.
D-Fuse's visual art has been shown internationally; venues include Sonar
[Barcelona], The Rotterdam + Seoul Film Festivals, plus many other film
festivals around the world. Their current touring mixed-media show, ‘Angles
Of Incidence’ was acclaimed at the Porto 2001 festival, DeepRoot in Hull
+ the opening of the Jam + Onedotzero 6 exhibitions in Tokyo.
D-Fuse are leaders in club visuals + installations, touring their unique
imagery with electronic musicians such as Scanner + Leftfield to
contemporary classical musicians Alter Ego [who collaborate with Sciarrino
+ Philip Glass]. D-Fuse received a Netmage/Diesel Award for the world
VJing championships in Bologna, Italy.
D-Fuse music videos are broadcast internationally including music stations
MTV + Viva. They have also created idents for BBC2, XFM Radio, + the
British Film Institute; + motion graphics for Japanese telecommunications
giant NTT DoCoMo + worldwide digital image company Digital Vision.
D-Fuse have presented their work at the international Apple Expo + Apple
FCP Seminars in Tokyo, Japan.
Also for the past six years, D-Fuse has 'curated' a Full colour page in various
magazines including The Wire [UK], Exposure [Japan] + Design Graphix
[Japan], invited Artists + Designers were given free reign to explore their
ideas. Guests include Buro Destruct, Shelley Fox, Intro, Scanner + Elliot
Earls [Emigre].
D-Fuse have released 3 dvds in Japan - D-Fuse Vs Nonplace [NowOnDvd],
D-Fuse retrospective [Gasbook], there latest DVD D-Tonate_00 [NowOnDvd]
was nominated for ‘best DVD’ at 2003 Music Week CADS Awards.
Internationally D-Fuse’s work has appeared on many complitation DVDs
including - Gas [Japan], onedotzero [UK], Popcorn [Sweden], Animate
[Germany] + Moonshine [USA].
