Description:
The Duke City Shootout is a week-long movie making competition dedicated to training aspiring artists in the use of digital technology. Since 1999, we have received scripts from writers around the world. A panel of judges chooses the seven best 12-minute screenplays. The winners are flown to New Mexico for the high definition shoot. Each writer works with a mentor from the industry, a crew of students, volunteers and industry professionals to produce and screen their movie in less than a week.
